Autonomous Network of CISG Websitessk en

[slovenske znenie]

This Database forms an integral part of the Autonomous Network of CISG Websites which is maintained by the Institute of International Commercial Law at the Pace University School of Law. It is composed of particular national databases created on voluntary and non-profit basis, mostly created by educational and scientific institutions or law firms. Mutual cooperation between national databases is facilitated by the central database maintained by the Pace Law School.

The access to other national CISG databases can be beneficial to merchants willing to initiate business relationships with businessmen from different states, who want to gain general knowledge about how CISG is applied in this state and about the manner how national courts of this state apply the Convention.

Furthermore, in connection with application of CISG, we would like to call reader’s attention to these websites

-         website of the UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) which contains all relevant documents connected to creation of CISG

-         website of UNILEX, international database created by the Centre for Comparative and Foreign Studies as a joint venture with UNIDROIT, the Italian National Research Council and the University of Rome I „La Sapienzia“, edited by professor M.J. Bonell
